Dude…

Category: My Thoughts

So i finished Gears of War, in fact done it twice already, as both player one and player two.

Both times were equally fun, so this game is definatly not one of those you play once, and never again.

I saw news about confirmed two new sequels to the game, and it doesn’t supprise me at all.

Made yet another game purchase earlier today. Not a new one this time, but still a game worth mentioning.

And then name of the game is…Star Wars: Knight of the old republic 2.

Having never played the series, yet seeing so many comics about it in CAD, i think it was about time i gave it a whirl.

Oh and i also finished Marvel Ultimate Alliance, it seems i do have to go through it another couple of times since i still have characters to unlock and the ending is diffrent depending on certain things you do throughout the game, so much to be done yet.

GoW rules!

No i am not talking about God of War, although that game is also very good.

I got my hands on Gears of War on saturday. And i spend the whole weekend playing it. It’s such a great game.

Stunning graphics and sound.

Very fun and addictive gameplay, not to mention being the funnest co-op game i’ve ever played.

It’s lifespan could have been abit longer, i just finished it with a friend..And got it finished in less then 3 days, with breaks inbetween of course.

Wii getting closer…so close i can feel it(stop laughing!), it will give me comfort until i have a chance to hold wireless playstation controller in my hand..

Christmas getting closer and closer. My vacation will start mid next month and last into january so i am in for a long rnr from work. Due to this i will have lots of time to fill up, so guess i will use the opportunity to catch up on some older games that that i have left unfinished for far to long now. We are also in for a great release of games for this gaming season, and i will have to pick up a few for myself as it gets closer, and if money permits i will get myself a Wii so i can spend my vacation doing some extensive Wii testing.

Bye for now!

So it has come at last..

Category: Gaming News

It has finally come, the launch day for the playstation 3.

Now, only four more months for me. :(

But either way i am really excited to see how Tim(Ctrl+Alt+Del) likes it, or just anyone out in the us. I can also look at this positively. The us is gonna be the “beta” stage for europe, the launch in europe will have far less of the launch problems since i am hoping most of them will be sorted by the time it launches.

MUA is going well, i have already done a few missions in it, not sure how far i’ve gone into the game yet. But it is coming along nicely, the game could be abit more challenging at times, but i can’t play it in hard until after i finish it in normal i think.

I tried out Contra on xbox live arcade, must say i am very disappointed, it is a bad port, i would rather have wanted to just get the orginial NES versionĀ  ported instead of the arcade version.
hmm what else, oh yeah. Lego starwars II is great, i’ve already done some coop in it with my friend and we’ve done a few % of the game.

Yeah i am still alive, although just barely.

Short post for now since i am at work will post more once i get home.

Biggest news i have now is that i have Marvel ultimate alliance now, which is gotta say is turning out to be one of my favourite games if it keeps up with the fun gameplay and exciting fights. I love the rpg element in the game and the graphics are great, plus the sheer volume of heroes to choose from makes this game worth your time, even if you aren’t much for marvel you can still have fun with the addicting gameplay and involving story.

I also got Lego starwars II, only just started it but i am sure i will end up having lots of fun with it.

More later.
