I am sneaking to do a short post while at work.

Lately i have been spending my time playing Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, a brand new mmorpg game. It bears a close resemblence to World of Warcraft and Everquest and similar games except it has tons more races and professions to choose from. Although it’s not perfect and still has some bugs that need ironing out but overall it had a good launch compared with many else that is.

I have also been playing in the Wemas gamedays, although i found a new level of sucking. It was still tons of fun, it’s always great playing with other fans of CAD.

Got more to post but less time to do it in, i’ll do another post once i get home.

So my birthday came and went, in celebration a couple of my friend came over and we spent the evening/night playing Warcraft III, Mortal kombat, WoW and more.

I am currently relaxing on my day of work, got Lost Planet coming in the mail later tonight and so i am probably gonna be playing it later tonight.

Doesn’t mean that i aint in for a pretty busy day, my uncle is coming to visit later today and i am going to the gym with a friend of mine. I entered a contest in who can lose the most weight, get fit in 2 months. I am not in it for the price but out of necessity since i am far too overweight to be pleased with it.

So the Crackdown demo got delayed….argh!

Errhm i mean…i need my…snap, crackle and pop..

I have applied as a reviewer for CAD-media i send my application only a few minutes ago, i am not expecting a answer until after the weekend, will be fun to see if i have what it takes to get a position there.

I am getting afraid that i will not be able to attend DO this year due to money woes, it all depends on what i get payed next month but at this point i’d rather want to miss the event and start saving for next years event then going completly into debt just as i am about to quit by job. I hope that i’ll be able to figure out a way to get this sorted because i really wanna go, i’ve been anticipating this trip for a long time now.
I got linked to this brilliant spoof of FF7. It’s by far the best one i have ever seen and definatly made me laugh more then anything else i’ve seen for a long time. I’ll add second post with it.

College Saga

Here is the most brilliant spoof of Final Fantasy i have ever seen, i laughed my ass off over it!

In two days at 4am it will be exactly 23 years since i was born. I wish i could stay 22 years old for a few more years though heh.

I plan to gather some of friends for a fun filled gaming party on friday to celebrate my birthday and also to celebrate Wintereenmas. Not sure what we wil end up playing, maybe do some Gears of war LANing since my friend also has a 360.

The Crackdown demo is getting awfully close and i am really psyched for it. It’s the game me and my friend are looking forward the most too. Who doesn’t love super agility, super strength, super jumping super cops! Not to mention, it’s co-op!

I saw an article about the possible porting of Gears of War to the PC. While getting it on the PC would be great and all that it doesn’t really matter to me. This game belongs on the xbox360 in my opinion. While i feel that mouse and keyboard are the best way to play first person shooters, Gears of Wars works really great on the xbox360 controller. Of course even if the game gets ported you will have to one badass PC to run it proberly.

I am currently prepping my trip to USA, i still need to get my hands on a passport and the plane tickets. It’s gonna be one hell of a trip, i haven’t decided on how long i want to stay over there, but since i don’t have a lot of money it won’t be long. Maybe just the event. At about the same time the event is, i will be quiting at my current workplace. I finally gave them my notice last monday. They managed to hold on to me for a few more months by moving me to the daytime shift but i’ve had it with this job. As a result i plan to move back to my hometown and stay for a while at hotel mom until i get settled and find a job. Since i will probably have some debts after the trip i will probably start working asap. I plan to work a lot during the new few months to get some money together and apply for the university next autumn if everything works out. I might end up working in lobster during the summer time, while i don’t enjoy working at it very much, it pays off in the long run due to excessive amount of overtime.

The game i am spending most of my time in right now is the brilliant and surreal game named Psychonauts. It was made by Tim Schafer who is the guy behind greats games like Full Throttle and Monkey Island. It’s a platform game that happens mostly inside peoples minds and i have been having lots of fun with it. I bought the PC version, while this game is just ackward with mouse and keyboard i just did the workaround. I have a wired xbox360 controller aswell as a wireless one. I just plugged in my 360 controller and downloaded this. That way i can enjoy the game with a small degree better graphics while still having the ease of using the xbox controller.

Can’t sleep…work in four hours..I am definatly gonna be dead this first of work after my holiday. Overall my holiday has been great, although i didn’t squeese in as much gaming as i had liked i did enjoy it throughly, enough that i am quiting my job and moving back to my hometown because i feel much more comfortable there then here. I’ll quit soon and work out my notice.

I did manage finish Gears of war on Insane with a english pal of mine, was a lot of fun and i wish to expand my horizion in that area. Up till now i haven’t been doing much online co-op but i have discovered just how fun it is now.

Next weekend i am gonna catch up on some demos and other game related activities. Since i was stuck on my laptop the vacation i couldn’t play that many games that normally would be easy as pie. I signed up for the Vanguard beta, still waiting on key, i also just saw that Genesis rising beta is now open so i will be signing up for that aswell. You can see it all on fileplanet.

Things are a mess here at home, so after work today i will be doing some necessary cleaning. My best friend is moving out of here soon.

Well time to and try to get a little sleep, less then three hours until i have to wake up, eugh. :/

Yeah it seems the webpage is back, although it is still acting weird and i get suspended message still, but i guess it takes awhile for it to get unsuspended.

Due to extreme load on my webhost yesterday it got suspended, because a site i was hosting was linked on the front page for Ctrl+Alt+Del, this in turn lead to over 14 thousand people visiting the site in a matter of hours. As you can guess my host wasn’t very happy about it heh.

I am just gonna hope that things will get back to normal around here soon.
