Yet again i fail to update the site with any consistency, i should really learn to do that.
In case any of you haven’t heard(not likely), Crackdown is here. Due to the money troubles i am experiencing i can’t afford to buy it until next month. I’ve played the demo a lot up late because i am really excited for this game. Done a few co-op games with my friends in it. It’s real blast, definatly worth your time and money if you like Co-op videogames and even if you aren’t much for it this game also provides a great singleplayer experience.
My copy of CAD Volume 3 and Analog & D-pad has arrived to the country but it’s still at customs, getting hold up on formalities *sigh* I’ll probably get it before the end of the week though.
The past two days I finally got going on a game I’ve neglected almost since the time i got it called Lego Starwars II. Although my first impressions of the game weren’t great, once i got one of my friends to play through it with me i found out that this game has some execellent gameplay and is fun and addicting. It also has tons of bonus material, I have finished going through all the episodes but i’ve still got only about 40% finished so far. I doubt I finish it to 100% anytime soon though, finishing the main chapters of the game are what matters too me. I used to try to finish all my games 100% back in the day, but as you grow older and your responsibilities and work gets a bigger part of life, I can’t spend as much time gaming as i used too. This game is pretty easy though, wasn’t much of a challenge compared with games i’ve been playing uplate like Gears of War.
There is going to be Inventory at the store i work in the next few days so coming Wednesday i will be doing a very long shift down at work. From 8am to whenever the Inventory finishes. The next day due to some changes to the taxes in Iceland all prices in the store will be lowered so we have to change every single pricetag in the store. Yeah it’s gonna be one hectic week to say the least. heh
I tested out the demo for Supreme Commander. Can’t say it was anything like i had imagined it would be from those beautiful videos from last year, but i guess i didn’t give it enough chance. I’ll probably do it later tonight or sometime during the week, can’t give up on it. I’ve been waiting for it for so long now.
Still slowly moving my way through the Dawn of War campaigns, one mission at a time. It’s definatly my favourite RTS series next to Warcraft and Starcraft.
My new Xbox360 is running great and I’m thankful that it wasn’t hard to get a new one. Luckily the malfunctioning part wasn’t the harddrive so i didn’t lose any of my saves or the profiles.
It seems that Uwe Boll is at it again with yet another horrific movie based off the videogame named Postal. He’s even gonna use footages from the fights he had against some critics in movie. That alone tells us one thing, this movie is gonna suck badly. I’m hoping it will be a in a haha badly not “OMG KILL ME!!” badly.
Like Uwe, Sony are at it again. Screwing EU that is. They admitted recently that backwards compatibiliy for the Playstation 3 wouldn’t be as good as the models sold in the US and Japan, which means that EU will be paying more for an inferior build of the PS3 then the other two markets. This is of course could be yet another nail in Sony’s coffin. I sincerly hope that they will not be put out of the race, but they’ve fucked up so many times now that i’m starting to wonder whether there is any hope left for them..
Hl2: Episode 2 draws closer..It’s on my “life dependend buying” list. I loved Hl2 and Hl2 Episode one, although Episode was barely worth the purchased because it was so fricking short, but i loved every minute of it. Of course who could forget Portal which is sure to be named the minigame of the year with it’s sexy uniqueness and fun puzzle gameplay. I never played the first Team Fortress so i’m on the fence about that one but it looks great. Makes for a much more worthwhile purchase getting three games in one package, especially if Episode 2 will be as short as Episode 1, although i doubt it.
Although i probably won’t buy any other game then Crackdown next month due to most of the money i get will go into paying for the debts i’ve got right now there are still a few coming out that i want like Armored Core 4 and i tested out that new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles videogame based on the new CGI movie coming out next month and it was pretty good. Wasn’t able to find any leads on whether it was a multiplayer game or not except that it is “action-platforming with some teamwork-based gameplay elements.” , if it isn’t that make it less appealing to me and pretty stupid since there are four turtles to choose from so why wouldn’t it be a co-op game in the first place.
