So, here I am with like 8 games I want and no chance in hell I can buy them.

I’m forced to listen to other people rant on about how great these games are and all I can do is throw stuff at them…

I’m hoping I can get back on my feet by next months pay but I’ll have to live very cheaply in November if that is to happen.

Anyway, enough about my personal rant stuff.

While I don’t have a lot of new games right now, I have been messing around with other stuff such as the Call of Duty World at War beta.

Now, I haven’t tried it out a lot but it’s good, and probably going to get plenty playing it, but that’s only because the game is exactly like Call of Duty 4 except it’s set in WW2. WW2 games have oversaturated the FPS market and as such it puts a lot of people off. Not to mention it’s really the exact same game. I haven’t seen or tried everything but the only really new thing I saw was that it has a class for Attack Dogs. So you can run around killing everyone with your mouth, it’s interesting to see how that is hehe.

Other then that, the campaign allows co-op for the first time in the series, which is pretty sweet and also after you finish the campaign you unlock a special Nazi zombie mode. Where you and your friends can battle together to stay alive against unending hordes of zombies, and having the ability to exchange points you get for killing zombies for ammo and upgrades to your weapon to help you stay alive for longer.

While I’m going on about zombies, later this month Left 4 Dead is coming out which will feature 4 player co-op where you can your buddies are “left for dead” against a zombie infestation.

It’s made by Valve and considering their track record of never having released a bad game…like ever. I tend to think that this is going to be an excellent game and while I might have to let it wait awhile, I’m still going to get it eventually.

On another more exciting note, Mirror’s edge demo is out on PSN today and it will arrive on Xbox Live tomorrow.

Ever since I saw this game ages ago I have been excited to see what they make of it. It certainly seems to have a unique way about it and the graphics are to die for.

It’s all about free roaming and running…and some more running and unlike pretty much all other FPS you don’t carry a weapon with you, you may take them from enemies and use them but for the most part you are just running away and trying to stay alive.

Oh and last but not least the Gears of War 2 Launch trailer has arrived and as always the game looks gorgeous.

I’m sorry about the lack of anything on the site. I’ve been a little busy the last couple of weeks. I moved into my own place now, it’s actually my old place in the city. I’m also back working at 10-11(grocery store)

The money isn’t that good, and at the moment I don’t have jackshit and living off visa so games are not a priority until I can get ahead of the debt which probably won’t be until in december.

As such I’ll probably skip over quite a few games that I want, it pains me to not have a job that pays good enough for me to buy them all.

At the moment I’m also without all my gaming stuff, apart from my laptop so I’m not really playing enough to actually have anything to post on the site, apart from stuff already in the news on other sites.

I’m totally psyched for Gears of War 2 now, I’ve been working my way through the original on my friends 360 and as always it’s a total blast.

It’s my only guranteed buy, the other games will have to wait or be skipped because I just can’t muster the money for them.

MMORPG.com and Potflix.com are hosting a contest.

Basically they want to spoof your favorite online game and make something funny and then upload the video to Potflix.

You can do this however you see fit, whether you do voice over, make your character dance or whatever, it just has to be entertaining.

Plenty of time to go before the dead line which is Jan 1 2009 so there is no rush and you can put as much or as little effort into your video as you want.

The winner(the one who has the most popular video by votes at the end) will receive a Xbox 360.
